Salesforce
Salesforce search searches for just about anything. The filters indicate what types can be searched for. The filters below the search box will filter out the types selected.
Recently Selected
Selected items from the search will then be able to be accessed in the Recently Selected area. This area maxes out at 10. If the area contains 10 items or more and a user selects a new search item not in the list, the last one in the list will be removed and the new item will be inserted at the top.
Adding a Prospect
Salesforce Classic
Users are able to add a new prospect via the mobile app on the Search screen. Adding in a new prospect will bring you to the Prospect Detail Screen.
Actions
After getting search results for Prospects, the following actions are available:
- Call
- Text
- Navigating to the Prospect's address
When the required information does not exist for a Prospect, the action cannot be completed. For example, if the Prospect does not have an address, navigating the Prospect is not possible. Same for email, if you do not have the Prospect's email, you will not be able to email the Prospect etc.
MarketSharp
A user must provide a Last Name (Shows required on the form)
If the user does not enter in a phone or email, upon save, a message will appear indicating the user needs to enter in a phone or email.
When adding a Contact, the Contact's Type (Prospect, Lead or Customer) field can be set. When updating a Contact, the Type field cannot be changed as it could cause data loss when the Type is changed.
- Do Not Email is supported on the primary email address for MarketSharp. A warning will be displayed prior to emailing a Contact informing that the email they are emailing is marked as Do Not Email.
- Do Not Email is only available for Salesforce users by adding the restriction fields to the Marketing Restriction section in the Page Layout.

Additional Contacts
Additional Contacts are not editable. They can be found under a Contact when editing. Because RemodelerGo does not take into Contact Types (Prospect, Lead or Customer), Additional Contacts are visible for users that can view Additional Contacts for Prospects, Additional Contacts for Leads or Additional Contacts for Customers. If a user does not have any of those permissions, Additional Contacts will not be visible to them.
Custom Fields
Custom Fields can be found under a Contact when editing. Because RemodelerGo does not take into Contact Types (Prospect, Lead or Customer), Custom Fields are visible and editable for users that have permission to view/edit Custom Fields for Prospects, view/edit Custom Fields for Leads or view/edit Custom Fields for Customers. If a user does not have any of those permissions, Custom Fields will not be visible/editable to them.
If a user does have permission to edit Custom Fields for Leads, but not Customers, and the go to edit a Custom Field for a Customer, the Custom Fields in RemodelerGo will be editable/viewable, but will not be able to be saved. A user will receive an error when trying to Save.
