First, what is a Permission Set?
A Permission Set is a group of permissions that can be assigned to a User to grant them additional features or access beyond the permissions in their User Profile.
Apply the RemodelerGo Permission Set to a User
Some of the permissions listed above are included in a managed Permission Set, called RemodelerGo. You can add this Permission Set to each User to grant them some (not all) of the needed permissions to use the App.
Click the Admin's Username in the upper-right corner of the screen, click Setup from resulting dropdown.
On the left sidebar, click the (>) arrow next to Manage Users to expand the Manage Users menu. Click on Users.
Then click on the User who needs access to the RemodelerGo app.
Hover or Scroll to the section Permission Set Assignments and click the Edit Assignments button
Move the RemodelerGo Permission Set from the Available Permission Sets column to the Selected Permission Sets column then click Save
Apply the RemodelerGo Permission Set to multiple Users at a time
NOTE: If you plan to give all your Users access to the RemodelerGo mobile app, you can apply the Permission Set in bulk by going to the Permission Sets menu.
Click the Admin's Username in the upper-right corner of the screen, click Setup from resulting dropdown.
In the left sidebar, click the (>) arrow next to Manage Users to expand the Manage Users menu. Click on Permission Sets.
Locate and click on the RemodelerGo Permission Set.
At the top of the page, click Manage Assignments
Here you will see a list of Users who already have this Permission Set applied. Click Add Assignment to give additional Users this Permission Set.
Next select all the Users who need access to the RemodelerGo mobile app. Check the checkbox next to their Username and then click Next.
The next window allows you to set an Expiration Date for the Permission Set. Choose No expiration date and then click Assign.
